A woman with a gunshot wound in the abdomen rear-ended another vehicle, according to police, near the intersection of Lincolnway and N. Church Street in Mishawaka. This happened just before 10:30 a.m. Monday. The 32-year-old woman was taken to the hospital. Police say she was not shot at the Lincolnway location. They spent time at a home in the 700 block of Lovechio looking for clues. She apparently got in her car and tried to drive herself to either the police station or hospital, but hit a pickup in downtown Mishawaka.
